| The missing Link was started over four years ago, to bring together business people in Oxfordshire. The aim was always to grow a network of people who were happy to help others to overcome problems they face in their companies. Developing the missing Link as a network that allowed businesses to meet potential clients was almost a secondary aim. |

Since its launch, the missing Link has become a national network, with regular meetings held around the country. This means that members can benefit from a truly national network of peers and colleagues. It also gives them access to trusted suppliers and clients across the whole country. |

The missing Link is continuing to grow, with meetings planned for many new venues. Meetings are based around the five stages of
missing Link networking: |

Business Card Stage |

A chance to briefly introduce yourself to the other people at the meeting or tell those you know something new about your business. |

Ask for Help |

What is holding your business back? What suppliers or advice are you looking for? Someone at the meeting will be able to help you; if they cannot, they will know someone who can and will pass their details to you. |

Give Help |
| |
|
Your chance to share your ideas and advice. You will have already overcome some of the problems that others face, so this part of the meeting allows you to give something back. |

Stay in Touch |
| |
|
Do not just put someone's business card into your pocket. Stay in touch and get to know more about what they do. |

Build Trust |
| |
|
By giving and receiving help and staying in touch, you will start to build trusting relationships with the people you meet. When people trust you, when they are ready, they will buy from you. This is the secret to growing your business the missing Link way. |
